A modern, tech-enabled tax advisory and compliance firm partners with privately held businesses, investors, and high-net-worth individuals to provide advanced tax strategies and compliance solutions. They are seeking a Tax Manager to join their fully remote team.

• Manage and mentor a small team of tax associates, overseeing workflow, prioritization, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency across client projects.
• Review complex federal and state tax returns across multiple entity types to verify compliance, accuracy, and the optimization of client tax positions.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and compliance matters through scheduled meetings and ongoing communications throughout the year.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, interpret new legislation, and summarize findings to support both client-facing and internal advisory work.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of tax regulations, IRS rulings, and relevant legislative updates to ensure all client work reflects current standards.
• Document technical findings, contribute to process improvements, and assist in developing internal training resources to enhance team performance and technical competency.

• Experience as a tax generalist, including forms 1040, 1065, and 1120S.
• Experience managing a team of tax professionals.
• CPA/EA/JD required.
• Strong command of U.S. direct tax law and compliance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into efficient, practical processes.

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus
