• 3 to 5 years of dedicated real estate finance experience
• Substantial experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in commercial real estate financing transactions
• Familiarity with loan origination, structuring, due diligence, and closing
• Proficiency with complex real estate documentation, including loan agreements, mortgages, guarantees, and security instruments
• Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Admission to the Illinois Bar (or eligibility to waive)

• Represent institutional lenders, banks, and private equity firms in financing transactions
• Draft and negotiate loan documents for acquisition, construction, and refinance deals
• Conduct and oversee due diligence, title and survey review, and loan closings
• Assist with structuring and closing single‑lender and syndicated loans
• Manage client relationships and support broader real‑estate transactional needs
