** A respected organization within the insurance industry is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to support investment accounting activities tied to complex transactions, including reinsurance related structures. Primary Responsibilities:

* Oversee the accounting and reporting for diversified investment activity associated with structured or reinsurance influenced transactions
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of investment data in alignment with applicable accounting standards
* Partner with internal finance, investment, and operational teams, as well as external service providers, to confirm data integrity and resolve issues
* Evaluate accounting processes, propose enhancements, and coordinate implementation with relevant stakeholders
* Contribute to the preparation of GAAP and Statutory financial reports, supporting both periodic close activities and technical analyses
* Maintain strong documentation practices and uphold internal control expectations across reporting processes
* Support audit efforts and respond to regulatory or contractual inquiries with well organized information

Core Competencies:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment accounting, insurance accounting, financial reporting, or similar technical finance roles
* Solid understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting principles, along with relevant regulatory framework
* Familiarity with investment products, portfolio activity, and the accounting implications of complex financial structures
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical matters for varied audiences
* Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel capabilities
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced credentials are beneficial
