Senior Financial Reporting Analyst — Downtown Chicago (Hybrid)

Large, Global Manufacturing Company A major publicly traded organization headquartered in downtown Chicago is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team. This role sits within a high-visibility external reporting group and supports consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, and preparation of quarterly/annual filings.

• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables
• Assist with the company’s transition to full U.S. GAAP reporting and development of standardized tools, templates, and controls
• Partner with finance, operations, and corporate teams to streamline and strengthen reporting processes
• Provide documentation, schedules, and analysis for internal and external auditors (SOX and financial audits)
• Perform monthly and quarterly flux analyses, reconciliations, and supporting work papers
• Execute reporting tasks tied to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Participate in ongoing system enhancements and financial reporting system upgrades
• Research unique or complex accounting matters and assist in drafting technical memos
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects tied to policy updates, process improvements, and new accounting requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience
• Big 4 or large public company experience strongly preferred
• CPA preferred

• Strong command of U.S. GAAP
• Fluency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools
• Experience in a manufacturing or multi-unit environment is a plus
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong documentation, analysis, and communication skills
