** The Opportunity!
** As a
** Underwriting Processing Associate**, in the Underwriting Department, you will be the key contact for Bordereaux entries and submission for all of our In-House Insurance contracts and key liaison with our Finance Division.
** A day in the life
- *** Data Entry of bordereaux transactions from issued in-house insurance policies
* Update bordereaux timely and provide Finance and Insurers with current account transactions
* Review documents received from processing department
* Review EPIC Binder Billing details to ensure accuracy; triage errors to the Commercial Lines CRS’s
* Other duties as assigned
** What you will bring to the team
- *** Requires at least 1-year experience in accounting field
* Insurance Experience a plus (Industry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced Excel skills required and proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Work under pressure to deadlines
* High degree of accuracy with a keen attention to detail
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environment
* Pro-active and a self-starter
* Superior interpersonal skills

The expected salary range for this position is $35,000 to $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
