A global investment firm with a long-standing reputation in convertible securities and multi-asset strategies is seeking an Analyst with 4+ years of experience covering Semis and Hardware. This opportunity offers exposure to multi-asset portfolios and convertible strategies alongside traditional equity research.

Chicago, IL
Salary: $130,000–$170,000

• Develop and maintain financial models using advanced valuation techniques (DCF, residual income, multiples-based, and SOTP).
• Analyze industry themes, secular trends, market sizing, and competitive positioning to identify risks and catalysts.
• Generate timely and concise research reports and present investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
• Participate in new issue deal analysis for the U.S. Convertible market and IPO evaluations.
• Act as the subject matter expert for assigned coverage areas; lead and contribute to technology sector strategy discussions within the research team.
• Track and evaluate technology sector performance and portfolio holdings against investment benchmarks and the firm's broader macroeconomic outlook.

• At least 4+ years of experience covering semiconductors and hardware; prior buy‑side experience is required.
• Background in convertible securities analysis is a plus.
• Demonstrated passion for investing, coupled with a strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to continuous personal growth.
• Exceptional research capabilities with proven ability to efficiently gather, synthesize, and analyze data.
