Pay Range: $24-26/hour

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Cash Applications Specialist. Our client located in Chicago is looking for a Cash Applications Specialist to join their team on a Contract basis. We are seeking someone that has 3+ years of cash application experience and prior knowledge of SAP. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately!
Key Responsibilities- Payments coming in per day that require application.
- Invoices posted automatically, unless there are any variances or issues that need to be investigated; they will have to be handled.
- Posting credits 2x per week and logging on the sheet where the sales team requests credits, usually heavier by the end of month, 100 credits per week.
- Cash application is manual – need to know the customers and get the hang of it, very straightforward but candidate needs to be comfortable as no automation built in at this time.
- ACH and check processing (usually checks) received weekly: scanning, saving on shared folder, applying in system, filling out back of check, and sending via Fed Ex (no lockbox).
- Organized and attentive to detail.
- 3+ years of cash application experience.
- Understanding of systems/experience in SAP.
- Effective communication skills.
