Our client, an 85-year-old company focused on clients, financial planning, and investment management, is seeking to fill Financial Advisor roles based in the Chicago, IL market. The successful candidate will provide investment advice and recommendations to prospective and active clients. They will also help clients identify their financial needs and goals and recommend plans and products to achieve those objectives.
The position includes:
- Branch office environment with independent payout structure (up to 90+%).
- Best FA support in the industry

- Open architecture accounts and investment management.

- State-of-the-art technology and reporting options.
- Sourcing and engaging new clients, opening new accounts, recommending securities for investment, overseeing trade executions, and providing ongoing advice and counsel.
- Conducting full needs assessments with current and potential customers.
- Recommending appropriate company products and services based on objectives, risk tolerance, and asset allocations.
- Providing superior customer service to meet or exceed customer needs, questions, and problems.
- Identifying new sales opportunities by maintaining contact with existing customers and referral sources.
- Developing new opportunities to deliver advice and solutions to existing clients.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Three or more years of sales/client service experience in financial management.
- Generating $150K or more in gross revenue in each of the past two years.
- Series 7 and 66 or 63 Licenses are required. State life, accident, and health insurance licenses are preferred.
- Knowledge of investment management strategies, processes, and products.
- High proficiency in sales, networking, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Strong interpersonal communication, writing, and group presentation skills.
