ThePosition
Our client is seeking to fill several Senior Bank Teller roles across the greater Chicago, IL area. The role involves providing exceptional customer service by processing transactions at the teller window, balancing daily transactions, and referring bank products in line with customer needs. The Senior Teller is also responsible for completing operational processes efficiently and in compliance with bank policies. Additional operational duties may be assigned.

Senior Teller Supervisor Responsibilities:- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Balancing the teller cash drawer and safeguarding cash; assisting other tellers with their balances.
- Identifying customer needs and opportunities to promote bank growth.
- Assisting with vault cash and dual control procedures.
- Preparing bank reports.
- Supporting Teller Supervisors with operational audits.
- Managing ATM functions such as deposits, cash loading, and balancing.
- Maintaining security and internal controls to prevent fraud.
- Assisting customers with inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Placing account holds as per policies.
- Ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Striving to meet retail sales goals.
- Performing additional duties to enhance location profitability.

- High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
- At least five years of bank teller experience.
- Minimum six months of managerial experience.
- Strong math skills and accuracy.

- Knowledge of bank deposit products and regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and supervisory skills.
