Overview

Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organization’s mission is to provide quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency comprises five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education, supported through 17 locations.

Position

We are seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer to join our Finance Department located at 2319 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60608.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm

Responsibilities

• The CFO supervises the Finance Department and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.

• The CFO reports directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and securing new funding.

Qualifications And Skills

• Completion of a master’s degree at an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or the equivalent

• 10+ years of experience in accounting

• 3+ years of experience in supervising finance professionals

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
