Finatal has been exclusively retained to appoint a CFO for a rapidly scaling distribution and consumer products platform operating across B2B and B2C channels. The business generates $115M+ in revenue with strong EBITDA performance. It is now entering a decisive phase of integration, operational refinement, and system strengthening to prepare for future transaction readiness.

This is an opportunity for a proven private equity CFO to step into a critical seat at a business that has grown quickly and now requires disciplined financial leadership. You will partner closely with a fast‑moving, collaborative investor who values clarity, pace, and a genuine operating mindset.

The platform carries the complexity typical of scaled distribution: proprietary and third‑party products, multi‑facility operations, a broad sourcing network, and a mix of direct‑to‑consumer and large‑account customers. Your mandate is to impose structure on a high‑growth environment - enhance forecasting, elevate controls, drive integration across recently acquired businesses, and build finance systems capable of supporting the next stage of value creation.

We are seeking:

• A PE‑backed CFO with integration, system‑building, and operational finance credentials

• Experience in distribution; exposure to e‑commerce complexity is advantageous

• Strong accounting foundation (CPA/public accounting preferred)

• Hands‑on operator comfortable in a high‑expectation, fast‑moving environment

• Chicago‑based candidates strongly preferred
