Compliance Underwriter

Join a fast‑growing mortgage compliance team as a Compliance Underwriter iew TRID 1.0 and 3.0 loans to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. Project‑based role—perfect for candidates who enjoy detailed loan review work with flexible scheduling and lots of overtime opportunities.

What You’ll Do
  • Review and capture data from mortgage documents (LE, CD, HUD‑1, Note, Mortgage, 1003, appraisals, etc.)
  • Validate TRID disclosures for accuracy, timing, and compliance
  • Identify file inconsistencies and compliance issues
  • Analyze settlement fees for federal and state requirements
  • Meet daily volume and quality metrics
  • Work within a proprietary system, MS Office, Outlook, and Teams
Schedule & Pay
  • Flexible start time: 7–9 AM EST
  • Standard 8‑hour day | Breaks/lunch per state law
  • Training: 2 weeks, 9 AM–5:30 PM EST (mandatory)
  • Pay: $24–$31 /hr (hourly)
  • 1.5x overtime available during busy periods
  • Pay may adjust slightly after interview evaluation
Training Requirements
  • 2‑week systems training
  • Must pass an exit exam (80%+) to continue
  • Ongoing 90‑day ramp period with QC scorecards and performance benchmarks
What You Need
  • Experience reviewing residential mortgage loans and closing documents
  • Proficiency with TRID 1.0/3.0
  • Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment
  • Excellent communication & time management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
Education
  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Associate Degree preferred

Pay And Benefits

Annual pay range $49,920 – $64,480. Full‑remote. 1.5x overtime available.
