ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Research estate matters across disciplines, focusing on income/estate tax issues, using tax research tools like Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint.
- Prepare written deliverables such as emails, memos, and Excel matrices to document client issues, apply guidance, and draw conclusions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external requests.
- Communicate with engagement leaders about open items and important matters, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Perform estate tax calculations using Excel and other systems.
- Contribute to developing standardized approaches to improve estate plan solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with estate, fiduciary, and gift compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- CPA certification in the practicing state.
- Knowledge of wealth transfer planning vehicles and trust agreement language.
- Experience with various trust vehicles, including charitable trusts, spousal trusts, grantor trusts, QPRTs, and GRATs.
- Ability to quickly learn and draft estate plans and related correspondence from legal documents.

Our compensation is fair and competitive, with a base pay range of $103,000 to $154,000, depending on factors like location, experience, and skills. Bonuses are available based on performance.
