Staff Accountant

Description

The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $150,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities

+ Manage corporate month end close procedures with the global finance team.

+ Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of global finance and general ledger reporting structure.

+ Assist with quarterly and annual external reporting requirements

+ Support implementation of new accounting standards and maintain accounting policies

+ Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual external reporting requirements.

+ Assist with implementing new accounting standards and documentation of accounting policies.

+ Lead the process of communicating with the external audit team.

+ Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff

+ Participate in cross-functional initiatives and process improvement efforts

+ Assists finance managers regarding financial results and special reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ BS in Accounting, Masters preferred, CPA preferred

+ 5+ years of Accounting and finance experience.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications.

+ Knowledge of SAP software and Microsoft suite of products.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
