Director, Valuation Consulting – Disputes Advisory
Hilco Enterprise Valuation Services is a fast‑growing division of Hilco Valuation Services. Our Disputes and Investigations practice delivers case assessment, complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, damages formulation, investigative services, forensic accounting, and expert witness testimony across a wide range of financial and legal matters. The Director will work with staff to support senior professionals, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Demonstrate leadership by managing teams preparing expert analysis and serving as the primary point of contact for external clients and internal team members.
- Provide quality consulting services to attorneys, general counsel, and boards of directors so the end product supports thorough and grounded expert financial opinions.
- Lead projects in finance, forensic accounting, investigation, valuation, and related fields, delivering written and quantitative work products.
- Create financial models and cash flow analysis, performing business‑related valuations and other analyses as required by the client or transaction.
- Develop new revenue opportunities by leveraging relationships and supporting Hilco colleagues’ revenue‑generating activities.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through participation in industry events, continuing education programs (CLE and CPE), and other outreach.
- Promote a culture of respect, transparency, and excellence—mentor and develop team members.
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, expert services, valuation, forensic accounting, or related fields.
- Demonstrated business‑development skills and marketability.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; advanced degrees and professional certifications are encouraged.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Energetic, passionate attitude toward teamwork and client service.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting client and internal deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Pay Transparency: Base salary range in Illinois: $200,000–$225,000. This range excludes discretionary bonuses and other compensation.
