CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work closely with the Tax Director and Tax Manager on a variety of tax issues

* Prepare state and city sales and use tax filings. Assist Tax Manager on process improvement and automation for sales and use tax filings.

* Prepare personal property tax returns

* Prepare gross receipts and business & occupation tax returns

* Prepare monthly lodging analysis

* Prepare monthly reconciliation of entity level tax payments

* Prepare monthly firm paid relocation and parking analysis

* Prepare process documentation

* Organize and log tax notices

* Various projects as issues arise

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be enrolled full-time, in a 4-year university/college.

* Attention to detail

* Resourceful

* Team Player

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Strong organizational skills
