We are seeking a Floor Trader to join our Equity Indices team in the SPX pit on the CBOE floor. The role requires a highly motivated individual who can support team coverage and compete in the marketplace. Candidates must have working relationships inside the S&P 500 complex of options.

• Make markets on options for brokers using proprietary pricing and execution software on a trading tablet.
• Engage with liquidity, removing resting orders and identifying opportunities to hit the market in the team’s P&L.
• Learn and operate within our systems and trading style alongside experienced traders.

This position demands immediate contribution while adapting to new responsibilities.

• 2+ years of market making options on the CBOE floor
• SPX pit experience in the last 18 months required
• Entrepreneurial self‑starter ready to work in a fast‑paced, team environment
• Strong mathematical aptitude for maximizing trading opportunities under high pressure
• Effective communication and superior interpersonal skills
• Passion for problem‑solving and creative solutions in an ever‑changing market
• BS/MS in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or equivalent
• Rapid response to changing market conditions; ability to solve math and coding problems

In accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act, the minimum base salary starts at $130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications. The role is eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package that may encompass employer‑paid medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, paid time off, and other benefits.
