Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – minimum 2 days/week onsite)
Relocation: Will consider relocation candidates who fully meet all qualifications
About the RoleSeeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their Chicago office. This is a backfill role ideal for experienced tax professionals looking for significant career growth, exposure to diverse industries, and strong collaboration across corporate tax teams nationwide.
Must-Have Qualifications- Corporate tax & tax provision experience (ASC 740) within the last 1–3 years
- Current Manager title in a public accounting firm
- Active CPA license (Illinois or reciprocity) – JD/active law license also acceptable
- Public accounting experience with a Top 15 firm
- Experience supporting large, multi-state, national, or global corporate tax clients
- Ability to work minimum 2 days/week onsite in Chicago (hybrid)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4–7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
- Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 – Accounting for Income Taxes
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP
, corporate income tax laws, and regulations - Strong analytical, technical, and tax technology skills
- Experience in public accounting
- Experience with One Source Tax Provision
- Working knowledge of:
- State & local income tax
- International taxation
- Transfer pricing
