Description

The salary range for this position is up to $90,000-$95,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Responsibilities

· Perform monthly close activities including but not limited to:

· Prepare monthly financial reporting package to executive management

· Work directly with the shared service center to manage and coordinate corporate month end close

· Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account recs for the corporate general ledger

· Field questions/support business unit finance leads with close and consolidation questions

· Accounting and disclosure responsibility for and/or involvement in the following areas:

· Share-based compensation

· Derivatives and hedging (Fx and interest rate swaps)

· LIFO inventory

· Self-insurance reserves

· Debt covenant calculations

· Pension

· Goodwill and intangible asset impairment analysis

· Acquisition accounting

· Maintain and update the company's accounting policies specific to the above areas

· Assist in coordinating and developing training materials for quarterly global accounting and finance updates

Requirements

Job Description:

· Minimum 2-5 years' experience, preferably with public accounting experience

· CPA or working towards obtaining their CPA

· Knowledge in consolidation and reporting systems Hyperion and/or Workiva is a plus

· Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles and internal controls

· Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask, while maintaining attention to detail

· Proactive self-starter who seeks new challenges and continuous improvement opportunities

· Ability to learn quickly and willingness to dive into new areas
