Location:
This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Actuarial Director is responsible for identifying, evaluating and responding to financial risks inherent in the pricing and development of health insurance products.
How you will make an impact- Prepares and interprets data, actuarial analyses, and related formulae to develop pricing strategies; leads rate development and filings, and evaluates financial performance for the Individual business, specifically non-Blue states.
- Monitors trends in profit and profitability; develops pricing recommendations and partners with local pricing teams to ensure alignment with segment financial targets.
- Serves on major, multi-function projects as Actuarial representative and may provide actuarial certification or sign-off on rate filings, as appropriate.
- Organizes and directs workflow, providing actuarial leadership for Individual pricing activities.
- Requires a BA/BS degree and minimum of 6 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- ASA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA).
- FSA strongly preferred.

* range for this specific position is $141,600 to $254,880.
