Sales Manager for debt portfolio marketplace

The company operates an online marketplace for debt portfolios and notes in the US. Since launch, $2.8B has been traded on the platform, and the process takes 14-21 days from portfolio submission to payment. Listing and commission fees are free for sellers.

• Build and manage a database of portfolio sellers, including BHPH dealers, auto finance companies, consumer and installment lenders, MCA funders, credit unions, medical billing companies, and solar and equipment lenders
• Conduct cold outreach through calls, personalized emails, Linked In, dealer association events, and conferences
• Handle inbound leads, some of which are qualified by a voice AI assistant that books meetings
• Run platform demos for business owners and CFOs, explaining the auction process, what buyers see, how data is protected, and how closing works
• Manage deals from first contact through signing and payment, including data tapes, auction preparation, and objection handling
• Re-engage leads who say they will think about it
• Prioritize leads by portfolio size and maintain transparent CRM reporting on stages, forecasts, and reasons for losses

• 3+ Years of B2B sales to the US market in outbound, new business, or hunter roles
• Mandatory Fin Tech background, such as payments, lending, neobanks, or SaaS fintech
• Hands-on experience building a pipeline from scratch through cold outreach; no warm base is provided
• A track record of closed deals that can be explained in detail, including client profiles, objections, closing steps, and financial results
• Native or bilingual English
• Full availability during US business hours (9:00-18:00 ET)
• Hunter mindset, independence, and focus on closing deals
• Will be a plus:
  Experience with debt, collections, auto finance, or specialty lending; understanding of data tapes and portfolio due diligence; basic knowledge of FDCPA and RMAI standards; warm contacts among US creditors or dealer networks
