Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to conduct research on pediatric brain tumors. Ideal candidates will have experience working with tissue, RNA and DNA, multiple sequencing modalities (RNA‑seq, WGS/WES, OGM, long‑read sequencing) and sequencing data analysis. Mouse handling experience is preferred but not required.
Job Duties- Assist researchers with technical support and proficiency.
- Perform job functions adhering to principles of innovation, academic excellence and teamwork to provide high‑quality research.
- Conduct genetic studies, molecular biology assays, gene chip arrays, data analysis, image and Red Cap software usage.
- Prepare data presentations, grant proposals, progress reports, publications.
- Participate in lab meetings, journal clubs, and research seminars.
- Complete additional assigned tasks as needed.
- Ph.D. or M.D. in a medical or biological science program.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques: PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA extraction, western blotting.
- Experience with sequencing data analysis and programming in R/Python.
- Optional mouse handling and/or surgical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication; organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
Ph.D. in Biology.
Pay Range$46,280 – $75,670 per year, with additional benefits.
