Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. This role requires flexibility, as it may involve working at more than one of our clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans for patients to improve mobility, strength, and function.

Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.

Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.

Support clinic operations by assisting with scheduling, patient flow, and basic administrative tasks as needed.

Travel to other clinic locations when required.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of IL.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or orthopedic physical therapy setting preferred (new graduates will be considered)

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Reliable transportation for travel between clinic sites.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, plus some Saturday mornings.

Schedule may vary based on patient needs and clinic assignments.
