Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assitant

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute is seeking a Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assitant to perform radiology diagnostic tests safely and effectively as ordered by a physician, assist with x-rays when backup and coverage is needed, and primarily perform Medical Assistant duties.

• Performs radiology procedures in a manner to comply with state and federal regulations
• Assists in maintaining appropriate equipment and supplies in the department
• Maintains documentation of patient testing information
• Completes other comparable duties and assignments as directed by the Radiology Manager
• Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology from an accredited school or two (2) years of experience in a directly related area
• Valid state Radiologic Technologist license
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Knowledgeable in computer systems (e.g. PACS), MS Word, Excel and others
• Able to lift and assist patients as needed for proper positioning

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience. $26-$36/hour based on skills/experience
