Misericordia is currently hiring for a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialis
t to provide active treatment and implement programs to consistently improve upon the physical, cognitive, and emotional supports provided to our residents with severe-profound disabilities.

·
Bachelor of Science degree in therapeutic recreation

· Minimum of one year experience supporting person with multiple disabilities

· Experience supporting persons with medically complex needs preferred

· Ability to be self-directed with strong organizational and communication skills

· Ability to be flexible regarding work schedule, including working evenings and weekends.

· Meet State requirements (i.e. fingerprinting, background check, drug screening)

· Ability to meet the essential functions of the position.
