Position Details: On-Call, Varied Days. This position will float to different Honor Health hospitals.

Overview: Evaluates nutrition risk criteria, assesses nutritional status, and develops and implements evidence-based nutrition care plans. Documentation is outcome-oriented and supports progress toward nutrition goals. Reviews current research and adapts findings into practice and patient education materials.
- Reviews nutrition screening reports to identify at-risk patients.
- Performs nutritional assessments using evidence-based guidelines.
- Evaluates patient outcomes and revises care plans accordingly.
- Serves as a nutrition resource to healthcare professionals and programs.
- Prepares documentation for medical records in line with practice guidelines.
- Develops and implements patient nutrition protocols and educational materials.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provides individualized nutrition education to patients and families.
- Adapts to environmental changes and performs duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree as required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or a bachelor’s degree grandfathered prior to Jan 1, 2024.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) with current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
