Clinical Education Specialist, Chicago

Overview

As a Clinical Education Specialist, you will provide clinical support, training and technical expertise for new and existing users of Creo Medical’s suite of Gastrointestinal (GI) devices. Based in the US, you will work closely with our wider commercial team to provide on-site support to customers through mentoring and clinical training/advice to ensure appropriate and optimal use of Creo products to meet individual patient needs.

The role will require you to work in both Theatre and Endoscopy Suite settings. This role offers a competitive base salary, complemented by an annual performance-based bonus which is pro rated and paid quarterly based on targets achieved.

• Support the delivery of product training to customers, effectively coaching clinicians
• Advise clinicians on the use of Creo equipment, acting as a product leader and advocate of all Creo devices
• Train new clinicians and support current users of Creo products in an assigned region
• Identify ongoing training needs for clinicians using our devices and deliver training where appropriate
• Act as a trusted advisor and provide all phases of product training support in endoscopy and OR/theatre settings
• Manage and deliver training courses for physicians, nurses, as well as new Creo hires
• Follow up on key equipment installations to ensure understanding and efficient usage
• Monitor and track equipment usage
• Support Directors of Market Development and Territory Managers to drive utility of Speedboat and other Creo products within existing accounts
• Proactively educate the team on new technologies and procedures within the GI and OR space
• Understand, speak to, and educate account staff and other Creo employees on disease states where Creo products are utilized
• Support the Director of Clinical Education to schedule and facilitate both in-vivo and ex-vivo labs
• Work within in-vivo and ex-vivo labs to drive Creo clinical pathways
• Travel extensively to support a US customer base

• Relevant experience of working in a medical or sales environment, as a nurse, tech, or other customer support role
• Experience of working in Operating Theatres or Endoscopy Suites
• Experience of providing clinical training at various levels
• Organized and methodical approach with the ability to manage workload effectively and work with minimum supervision

• Degree or experience in a nursing discipline or medical/healthcare field
