Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on an inpatient and outpatient basis in the areas of Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). The purpose of this position is to serve as the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and is responsible for the technical operation of Computerized Axial Tomography equipment.
QualificationsNECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology
Experience:
- Must have successfully completed training in the radiology field (CT and X-Ray) and have at least 1 year experience in CT and 2 years’ experience in X-Ray.
- Must have expertise to operate teleradiology and fax equipment
License:
- Must possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R)
- Must possess a current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT)
- Must have and maintain a current valid certification of the following throughout employment:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Skills and Abilities:
A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers. All employment references must address and indicate success in each one of the following areas:

- Submission of all required employment-related documents, applications, resumes, references, and other required information free of false, misleading or incomplete information, as determined by TCRHCC.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL EFFORT

Physical:
The work requires ability to endure long periods of maintaining balance, frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and must have ability to occasionally sit, drive, and climb. Position of patients who may be unconscious or disabled require considerable effort and working in awkward positions. Incumbent must have ability to frequently lift up to 75lbs and occasionally over 100lbs. Must be able to push and pull frequently over 100lbs and occasionally over a 100lbs.
Heavy lifting of totally incapacitated patients is done only with the help of other employees available. Sensory requirements for position include ability for far, near, and color vision, depth perception, seeing fine details, hearing normal speech, hearing overhead pages, and hearing over the telephone. The ability of both hand manipulation is required, must have ability of simple and firm grasping, fine manipulation, and use of keyboards.
Individual is required to be available for emergency call back services and is required to be at the duty station as assigned even though he/she may have had to work all night…
