Massage Therapist - Part Time

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Part Time Massage Therapist to join our Spa team and be an integral part of our guest-focused service.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide academic/theoretical and practical muscular/skeletal knowledge to practice.
• Provide the highest quality massage therapy/bodywork to those who seek professional service.
• Demonstrate professional excellence through regular self-assessment of strengths, limitations, and effectiveness by continued education and training.
• Conduct all business and professional activities within their scope of practice, the law of the land, and project a professional image.
• Accept responsibility to do no harm to the physical, mental and emotional well-being of self, clients, and associates.
• Comply with all company safety rules.
• Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with Peninsula standards.
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest-centric experience.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Spa Desk responsibilities with efficient handover.

General Requirements:

• 2 years of massage therapy experience, luxury property ideal.
• Respect the confidential nature of the professional relationship with a client and respect each client's right to privacy.
• CPR certification, proper licensing and are qualified to perform the specific types of massages.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure; individual must have great organization skills.
• Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external clients.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
