Primary Purpose of the Role

Provide support to the claims staff while performing office tasks as required by the client program.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Set up and enter new claims into the claims management system.
  • Input and review notes/diaries in the claims management system as instructed.
  • Process payments and handle mail, filing, faxing and photocopying.
  • Prepare, create, and send letters, reports, and forms.
  • Answer calls, set up medical appointments, and provide customer service as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute computer reports and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization’s quality program(s).
Qualifications & Licensing
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of clerical or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
