Job Description
Join UChicago Medicine as the Program Director, Quality Analytics in the Office of External Assessment. You will lead the program management and implementation of strategies to improve outcomes metrics defined by external agencies (US News & World Report, Leapfrog, CMS Stars, Vizient, Newsweek, AHA’s Get With the Guidelines, Value-Based Care goals, etc.). The role requires collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership to drive goals toward program excellence and to fulfill the mission of providing the highest quality of care and experience to patients and staff.
Who You Are
• Can hold an MBA, MHA or equivalent; bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a healthcare organization, with at least 5 years of progressive program management/leadership experience.
• Proven success with change management in a highly matrixed organization.
• Experience leading service line programs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of US News & World Report and other external ranking programs is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze information, present data, and draw conclusions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
What You’ll Do
• Evaluate, assess, prioritize, plan and implement improvement efforts for all priority external quality programs and evaluate new rating/ranking agencies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align and ensure achievement of UCM goals.
• Organize clinical and administrative structures to implement plans for improvement of external metrics and priorities.
• Work with clinical documentation nurses and quality program leads to drive UCM quality goals.
• Develop, implement and lead enterprise program management structures that support performance goals for UCM.
• Achieve approved targets set forth by leadership.
