SUMMARY

We are seeking an Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Lead to be a resource and in-house expert for our growing team of school-based OTs. This newly created position is an opportunity to shape and elevate the experience of our OTs by providing hands-on 1:1 caseload support for OTs who are working directly with students. This role is perfect for an experienced school-based OT who is passionate about mentorship, teaching other OTs best practices, and building a team along the way.

The OT Clinical Lead will collaborate closely with our Clinical Support Director, school services teams, and our HR teams to create a supporting, high touch, 1:1 support environment to navigate the complexities of supporting students throughout the school year.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1:1 Support & Guidance

  • Provide individualized, ongoing support to a cohort of Anthro Med school OTs.
  • Assist with IEPs, goals, progress reports, and school-based intervention strategies.
  • Offer case consultations to OTs, problem solving, and practical guidance for OTs.
  • Be a consistent and responsive point of contact for OT team members who require clinical guidance.

Community & Team Building

  • Support onboarding and orientation for new OTs who join Anthro Med throughout the year.
  • Support and create a welcoming environment for OTs during the  school year.
  • Help build a culture of collaboration and belonging for Anthro Med’s OT team.
  • Organize and lead virtual and/or in-person OT team check-ins, round tables, and team collaboration meetings.
  • Help with sharing relevant therapy resources & materials with Anthro Med OTs
  • Support communication efforts with ideas for social media and or further engagement with Anthro Med OTs.

OT Therapy Resources & Materials

  • Curate and share school-based OT tools, therapy activities, and resources to help OTs throughout the school year.
  • Create and build an internal OT resource materials database for Anthro Med OT staff.
  • Contribute to the creation of content for internal hiring, newsletters, social media posts, best practices for OTs, etc.

Training & Continuing Education for OTs

  • Help identify relevant and evidence based professional development opportunities for the Occupational Therapy team(s).
  • Contribute to planning or hosting continuing education events and workshops focused on school-based and/or pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Remain current with and share best emerging practices in school-based Occupational Therapy.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L)
  • Minimum 4-6 years of school-based and pediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and school-based documentation and IEP systems.
  • Previous mentorship, clinical leadership, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Collaborative, compassionate, and resourceful with extremely strong communication skills.
  • Passion for supporting and uplifting fellow OTs in a meaningful way throughout the school year.
