Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• Shift: 3×12-hour shifts
• Block Scheduling: Not allowed

• None

• Every other weekend (2 weekends per month)

• Maximum 5 days total
• No more than 2 consecutive days
• No holiday RTO
• No RTO the day before or after a holiday
• No weekend RTO

• Mandatory float facility (Cook County)
• ICU RNs will float between:
  • Burn ICU
  • CCU
  • Medical ICU
  • SICU
  • Neuro ICU
• May float to Med-Surg units if needed
• Orientation Week: First week (orientation + precepting) will be on day shift

• 36 hours/week

• Minimum 2 years recent acute care ICU experience

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

• Pending licenses NOT accepted

• Locals accepted and preferred
• Must live within 75 miles of the facility

• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue (not provided)
• Charting System: Cerner
