Massage Therapist – Insight Health Systems

Join our team in delivering compassionate, high‑quality care at our Chicago location in Bronzeville. This full‑time position offers a base salary of $45,000 – $50,000 per year.

Base pay: $45,000.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

We seek an experienced, compassionate massage therapist who excels in creating customized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. The role requires confidentiality, adherence to Insight values, and delivering high‑quality care to patients, staff, and guests.

FTE:
Full‑time, Part‑time, and PRN available. Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.

• Perform high‑quality massage therapy sessions using a range of modalities, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal massage, and postnatal massage.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, lifestyle factors, and goals, customizing treatments effectively.
• Maintain a clean, serene, and welcoming environment in massage therapy rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are sanitized and organized.
• Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized self‑care practices to support their wellness journey.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy, participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and adhere to all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.

• Valid state massage therapy license and certification from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a massage therapist in a similar setting.
• Proficiency in a diverse range of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, and aromatherapy.
• Strong anatomical knowledge and understanding of human physiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport and explain treatment options.
• Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and hygiene in all practice aspects.
• Current CPR and basic first aid certification (preferred).
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for health and wellness promotion.
