Skilled Nursing Facility now hiring an EXPERIENCED/LICENSEDAssistant Administrator to assist in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern nursing facilities, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Duties/Responsibilities
Assists the day-to-day operations of the facility
Leads planning process to develop goals for quality care, employee retention and financial performance
Implements control systems to ensure accountability of all departments
Monitors performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and takes corrective action when necessary
Works very closely with Operations, Clinical, Financial, Human Resources and other areas within the company or as directed by the administrator
Monitors monthly performance of facility in relation to budget and intervenes as needed
Assit in the recruitment/hiring, orientation/training and retaining of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services
Ensures industry standards, local, state, and federal guidelines of resident care is met and/or exceeded
Completes all required forms and documents appropriately in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

Must have experience in health care administration or equivalent experience in a SNF/LTC leadership role
Must be a take-charge individual
Nursing Home Administrator's license in the State of Illinois is required
BS in Health Care administration or similar field
Must possess excellent communication and relationship building skills
Knowledge of the federal and state regulations in a healthcare setting
