Position Summary

This is a generalist role on the Billing Team. Reports to the Assistant Director of Patient Accounting. Responsible for performing day-to-day tasks to ensure timely billing, collections, and payment postings for services provided by LCHC providers, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Organized and data-driven
• Experience with Athena Practice or Epic a plus
• Experience in dealing with Insurance Companies a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate, pursue solutions, and problem-solve with internal and external parties
• Ability to collaborate closely with teammates as well as work autonomously
• Ability to work efficiently using technology-based tools and processes

Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration

• High School diploma
• 2+ years related experience in healthcare w/ emphasis in operations, billing, and administration
• Well versed in computers, internet work, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of LCHC's practice management system is preferred
