Radiologic Technologist

Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SQ Med Staffing. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care by operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images. • Performing radiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians.
• Positioning patients correctly to obtain accurate images.
• Adjusting and maintaining radiologic equipment to ensure clear and high-quality images.
• Ensuring patient safety by following radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
• Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Perform and process X‑Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. (if required)

Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification

Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

State License Requirement:
Applicants must hold a valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in [Specify the state or states relevant to the job location].

Lift and position patients, possibly with assistance.

Stand for extended periods during patient examinations.

Maneuver radiologic equipment and accessories.

Bend, stoop, and kneel to position patients and equipment.
