• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may also take direction from licensed nurses or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services.
• Provides basic personal care such as bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc., according to procedures and daily assignment.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assists with resident laundry ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed and put away.
• Notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they arise.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding of residents.
• May be cross‑trained in Assisted Living.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Compensation

Pay Range: $19.13 – $23.33 per hour. The range is determined chats qualification, experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal and external equity.
