Private Practice Psychotherapist; LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, AMFT, Psy.D

Empowered Therapy, a well-established group psychotherapy practice, is looking to hire highly qualified, clinicians to build to full time (25 clients x week). We are looking for self-motivated clinicians who enjoy autonomy in their clinical practice while working collaboratively with colleagues in both peer-to-peer and group consultation settings to join our team. Our mission is to continue to develop a diverse team of clinicians in a professional, warm, and growth oriented environment.

The practice was founded in 2016 with the belief that every individual has the capacity to find healing and with a focus on working with women as well as couples facing relational concerns. Over the past 10 years as our team has grown so have our clinical focus and specialties. We are an inclusive and dynamic team, composed of clinicians who are socially justice oriented, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and trained in a variety of modalities and clinical concerns.

• W-2 Position
• Competitive Compensation and bonus opportunities
• In house Clinical Supervision for all provisionally licensed clinicians; with supervisors who have capacity to support a new clinician and provide weekly individual supervision
• Various Case Consultations & Learning Opportunities ; themed consult groups, lunch & learns, peer-to-peer consults, staff meetings, etc.
• Support in choosing your area of focus, including specialty supervision/consultation for those growing into a new specialty
• Leadership and growth opportunities within the practice
• Administrative support with client assignment, intake registration, insurance benefit checks, billing, payroll, insurance credentialing, marketing, etc.

• Masters or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related degree.
• Fully-Licensed LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD.
• Provisionally-Licensed LPC, LSW, AMFT
• Must hold current license in the state of Illinois (for provisionally licensed clinicians, licensure can be in process with the state as long as all licensure requirements are met)
• Ability to work full-time; billing an average of 25 clients x week (100 x clients per month)
• Capacity to offer at least 8 hours of evening availability per week while building a caseload (evening hours include 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, & 7:00 pm)
• Hybrid Schedule; 2-3 days of in person availability at our office in the loop each week

• Experience and training in working with couples and/or families
• Training in trauma related modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, etc.
• Previous experience working in a private practice setting
