Role Overview: This position involves providing basic patient assessments and screenings, accurately documenting services in electronic health records, and ensuring compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality regulations such as CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA. The role requires maintaining knowledge of clinical equipment and standards, supporting community health initiatives within a Chicago-based healthcare organization.
Responsibilities Include- Performing patient assessments and administering screenings
- Documenting all services promptly and thoroughly
- Adhering to safety and confidentiality regulations
- Maintaining equipment knowledge and clinical compliance standards
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Current provider-level BLS CPR certification required
- Availability to work at least one evening per week until 8:00 pm and one Saturday every four weeks
