Job Description
As a Medical Assistant,you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting our dermatology providers. You ensure that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care. You demonstrate consistent adherence to the practice's standards and procedures. You assist providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients.
Hourly Monday
- Thursday 7:15am-5:30pm
Medical Assistant | Oak/Elmwood Park | Full-time | On-site | Competitive compensation
In this role, you are a part of a collaborative team supporting our dermatology providers at our practice (Dermatology & Aesthetics) located in the Oak/Elmwood Park neighborhood at 1733 Harlem Ave:
- Scribing and assisting during medical and cosmetic procedures
- Educating and communicating with patients
- Ensuring efficient, high-quality, comprehensive care
- Adherence to clinical standards
Wages are competitive and varies with experience level. Starting between $19-$22/hour.
Preferred

- EMR (Mod Med EMA)

With a passion for patient care and healthcare environment, you are a team player, detail-oriented, proactive, excellent multi-tasker, organized, go-getter, fast learner, empathetic, positive, personable, and professional. With very communication skills, able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. You handle sensitive situations with discretion and comply with HIPAA regulations.
