The Regional Vice President of Operations plays a meaningful role in elevating performance across a portfolio of full-service and lifestyle hotels and restaurants. This role delivers financial results, memorable guest experiences, and consistent execution while helping create environments where people feel supported, developed, and proud of their work.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations for Full Service and Lifestyle Hotels, this leader brings enterprise strategy to life at the regional level, builds owner confidence, and helps leaders achieve results in ways that reflect First Hospitality values and behaviors.
What you’ll be doing … Operational Performance LeadershipChampion Balanced Scorecard performance across the hotels and restaurants within the region. Lead the execution of annual business plans and budgets, align resources to priorities, and identify opportunities and risks early to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
Food and Beverage ExcellenceApply deep Food and Beverage expertise to elevate restaurant, bar, banquet, and lifestyle concepts across the portfolio. Improve results through disciplined execution, menu and concept strategy, service standards, labor and cost management, and consistent guest experiences. Ensure Food and Beverage operations are commercially sound, operationally disciplined, and aligned with brand intent.
People First Leadership and Talent DevelopmentDevelop leadership capability across the region through clear expectations, direct feedback, and meaningful development support. Lead with a People First mindset, aspiring to create a great place to work for all where leaders and teams feel supported, included, and accountable. Coach leaders to deliver results while modeling First Hospitality values and behaviors. Recognize performance, address challenges with care and clarity, and build engagement through consistent, values-based leadership.
GuestExperience and Brand Stewardship
Champion a first-in-class guest experience by ensuring consistent service excellence, supporting experiences that feel authentic, differentiated, and aligned with brand positioning across all properties. Ensure each hotel and restaurant consistently delivers on brand standards, concept intent, and guest expectations.
Owner and Stakeholder PartnershipBuild trusted, productive relationships with ownership groups and key stakeholders. Engage in fact based dialogue around performance, priorities, and opportunities, partnering with senior operations leadership to align on plans, manage risk, and support long term success.
Openings, Transitions, and Operational ReadinessSupport hotel and restaurant openings, renovations, rebrandings, and operational transitions. Partner cross functionally to ensure readiness, leadership alignment, and continuity of the guest experience during periods of change.
You should have…- 8 plus years of hospitality operations experience across hotels and restaurants, including multi-property leadership
- Experience in full-service and/or lifestyle hotel environments with exposure to both independent and branded operations
- Demonstrated Food and Beverage leadership across restaurants, banquets, and bar operations
- Financial and business acumen with experience using platforms such as Profit Sword, Ottimate, UKG Pro, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems
- Ability to interpret operational, financial, and workforce data to guide decisions and drive performance
