Loft 22 is one of Chicago’s premier nightlife destinations, known for its curated music programming, elevated bottle service experience, and exceptional guest relations. We are seeking an experienced, personable, and highly organized VIP Host to oversee our bottle service operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience from reservation to departure.
Position OverviewThe VIP Host is responsible for managing all bottle service reservations, coordinating VIP arrivals, maintaining table assignments, and ensuring that guests enjoy a seamless and elevated experience. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking skills, as well as a natural ability to provide personalized service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Bottle Service Reservations: respond promptly to reservation inquiries via text, email, or direct message; confirm table packages and guest counts; maintain an updated table map and guest list for each event.
- Bottle Service Setup: ensure reserved tables are properly marked and ready before doors open; verify that the bottle service team has the necessary tools, products, and signage for the night.
- Guest Reception & Wristband Management: greet and escort arriving reservations; distribute and manage wristbands for designated tables or areas; handle additional wristband sales for added guests; coordinate arrivals with door and security staff.
- Table Management Throughout the Night: open tabs by collecting guest credit card; communicate minimum spend requirements; liaise with bottle service staff regarding guest orders; check in with tables periodically to drive sales and maintain satisfaction; ensure all minimums are met by closing.
- Sales & Relationship Management: proactively pre‑sell tables for upcoming events; build and maintain a customer database; develop relationships with returning clientele and identify high‑value guests.
- Previous experience in hospitality, nightlife, or VIP hosting preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work late‑night weekend shifts and occasional special events.
- Must be 21+.
- Compensation:
Hourly base rate + service incentives and performance bonuses based on event sales and pre‑sold tables.
