House Attendant

Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a House Attendant to join our Housekeeping operations and create a memorable guest experience.

• Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue, Chicago
• Work with a busy, fast paced environment

• Report all maintenance issues to designated Housekeeping extension.
• Empty trash bins from landings on a daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness of pantries and service landings.
• Vacuum all guest hallways on a daily basis.
• Sweep/mop service landings, pantries, and stairwells on a daily basis.
• Clean all service landing doors including attached metal plates on a daily basis.
• Clean ice bins and fill daily.
• Complete all guest requests within the standard timeframe.
• Stock guest linen and towels evenly in designated areas on a daily basis.
• Clean/dust guest floor, tabletops, service and hallway phones, pictures, lamps, and mirrors.

• Good understanding of housekeeping related equipment and supplies.
• Able to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to follow proper job-related guidance.
