We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our housekeeping team. We are committed to providing you with:

- Supervise the housekeeping staff, providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
- Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
- Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Monitor and manage inventories of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
- Prepare and generate operational reports to support housekeeping department coordination.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Self-starter with a professional, even-tempered demeanor.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
- Team-oriented and willing to assist coworkers.
- Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to move throughout the building to support staff as needed.
- Ability to use computer software and Microsoft Office functions.
- 2+ years of previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead by example.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
