We are seeking a warm, polished, confident, and hospitality-driven Host to join our team.

As the first and last impression of every guest's experience, our Hosts set the tone for the hospitality that defines Asador Bastian. This role goes beyond greeting and seating guests. It requires strong communication, attention to detail, thoughtful reservation management, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while supporting a seamless dining experience.

Create an Exceptional Welcome

• Greet every guest with genuine warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
• Recognize returning guests, VIPs, celebrations, and special occasions.
• Escort guests to their tables with care and attention.
• Create a memorable first and last impression through personalized hospitality.

Manage the Dining Room

• Coordinate reservations, seating rotations, and guest flow.
• Balance reservations and walk-in opportunities while maintaining service standards.
• Communicate accurate wait times and manage guest expectations.
• Partner with management and service teams to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain composure, organization, and professionalism during high-volume service.

Own Reservation Management

• Utilize Seven Rooms to manage reservations, guest profiles, and seating assignments.
• Maintain accurate guest notes, preferences, and special requests.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
• Assist with reservation confirmations, waitlists, and guest communications.
• Anticipate seating challenges and communicate proactively with leadership.

Support the Team

• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming entrance and host stand.
• Ensure menus and guest-facing materials are clean and properly presented.
• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and fellow Hosts.
• Support the dining room and fellow team members as needed.
• Complete opening, closing, and shift transition responsibilities.
