Overview
ABM is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter, Facilities Management & Skilled Trades to join our dynamic team and assist in attracting and retaining top talent to support our growing business in the Chicago Market.
This is a Hybrid Work Arrangement (in-office Mon-Thu) located at 180 N LaSalle Street, Chicago, IL 60601.
PayBase pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $/yr
Job DescriptionABM is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire professionals in the facilities management and skilled trades fields. You will work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle to ensure the organization is staffed with the right individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop job descriptions.
- Source, interview, and assess candidates to determine qualifications and fit for open positions.
- Build a network of qualified candidates through job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and trade organizations to tap into emerging talent.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to facilities management and engineering recruitment.
- Manage recruitment databases and track key performance metrics.
- Provide a positive candidate experience, ensuring candidates are well-informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Facilitate the interview process with hiring managers, including scheduling, debriefs, and offer negotiations.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide feedback to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Assist in developing and implementing onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new hires into the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in facilities management or skilled trades.
- Strong knowledge of the facilities management and facilities engineering industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment.
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
