We are seeking a passionate Labor Relations Generalist to join our exceptional team.

Role Overview

As a Labor Relations Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Labor and Employee Relations strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Labor and Employee Relations, you will actively support our union workforce, comprising of over 5,000 dedicated employees across 15 Collective Bargaining Agreements. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining harmonious labor relations, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our Senior Director to execute strategic HR, Labor, and Employee Relations initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all grievances, maintaining trends, resolutions, and responsiveness standards.
  • Offer guidance on contract administration, labor relations, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provide invaluable advice and support to management staff on grievance processes.
  • Propose compensation adjustments based on benchmark analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor/Employee Relations within a union environment OR a Master's Degree in HR and LR.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build alignment across functions and resolve conflicts.
  • Multi-state experience and strong knowledge of employment law.
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects.
