Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Hybrid schedule

Job Description:
The Payroll and People Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle by assisting with payroll processing, HRIS administration, and People Operations initiatives. This position partners closely with leadership to ensure accurate payroll execution, maintain employee records, and support engagement, compliance, and operational projects. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity created due to organizational restructuring.
Responsibilities- Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 70 employees using an HRIS/payroll system
- Review and audit payroll data for accuracy, including hours, deductions, and benefits
- Partner with Finance to support payroll reconciliation and reporting
- Assist with year-end payroll processes and tax documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and support system audits
- Generate reports related to headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics
- Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll and HRIS-related questions
- Support onboarding logistics, including scheduling orientations and coordinating setup
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and trainings
- Support compliance tracking, documentation, and internal communications
- Provide administrative and project support to the People Operations leadership team
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or People Operations
- Experience using Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll system
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
