The Data, Tech, Analytics, Audience and Insights (DTAI) team at Infinite Roar is at the core of everything that we do. This diverse team of data and marketing technology specialists have deep expertise in the ever‑changing universe of ad tech, data management, data‑driven marketing, and enable a data‑first strategy throughout our vast ecosystem of tools and capabilities, enabling automation and scale across our integrated media approach.
OverviewThe Associate Director will be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, meticulous individual, balancing their passion for innovative Mar Tech & Data solutioning experience with their bias toward action. They will work with the Audience Strategy practice leads and DTAI leadership to implement an execution roadmap for each Infinite Roar client and will partner with client teams to educate them on the myriad uses of audience‑led data strategies, employing 1P, 2P & 3P inputs to drive innovation and proprietary technology, including clean rooms, CDPs, sophisticated audience strategies, full‑funnel measurement, targeting/re‑targeting & suppression strategies.
They will develop insights and audience profiles to aid long‑term planning, engage with first‑party and third‑party data vendors and publishers to improve the data opportunity for the client beyond current options. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the Chicago office.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day partner across teams, managing delivery against client workflows & operationalizing the vision for Audience Strategy
- Conduct primary audience research, define core audiences to sustain and grow, and establish partner alignment to help shape marketing and content strategies
- Represent Audience Strategy as the in‑house expert in how 1P and 3P audience data and data‑driven media activation can drive business and improve return on investment for clients
- Evangelize best‑in‑class deterministic technologies & data strategies, including partnership with investment arms to support campaign activation as well as advanced data use cases
- Understand how platform/data technologies work and offer the ability to explain technical concepts in ordinary terms (be technically savvy & understand the opportunities and limitations)
- Leverage data‑driven processes to improve targeting precision and optimize campaign performance in real time to deliver client outcomes
- Share knowledge with client and internal teams regarding audience insights and results to impact business needs
- 4–5+ years managing relationships across complex hierarchies and demonstrated ability to influence indirectly
- 5+ years of experience in digital media and ad technology
- Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills
- In‑depth technical knowledge of ad and marketing technology, including ad servers, dynamic creative, streaming video, ad verification, customer data platforms, identity resolution solutions, DSPs, etc. and the ability to translate these complex technical concepts to non‑technical partners
